Silver-mounted viola bow, personal model inspired by Pajeot.

This bow's stick is made of amorette or unfigured snakewood. As pernambuco becomes more scarce, I turned to the historical precedence of the old French

makers using amorette as a substitute.

This was the first bow I made 2004 using what I've called my personal "stretched" Pajeot model for this bow's head. I subsequently reduced the pattern slightly for a violin bow.
