Transitional Double Bass Bow with a round pernambuco stick, open trench ironwood – wamara (sapwood) frog and button. The frog is lined with fiberglass and epoxy for strength. The button, also made from wamara sapwood, is in the “banjo key” style. This bow was mostly finished at the Oberlin 2018 Bow Making Workshop and is marked with the Oberlin 2018 brand. This bow is based on an example circa 1790 located in the Birmingham Conservatory Museum. 148 grams weight.
